We can no longer use the name EPCAL Motorsports Park. We operate under a Code Chapter 255 Special Event Permit with the Town of Riverhead, and the Town feels that name suggests a permanent race track — which can't happen until the CAT / Triple 5 lawsuit is resolved.
So moving forward we proudly run as Race Track Not Street @ EPCAL. (The logo above is temporary for now.)
The Riverhead Town Board unanimously approved our application for the 2027 season — our 7th! Planned track improvements land in time for our Summer Classic opener on August 15, 2026.
Expect added lighting at the dragstrip, drift track & taxiway, more bleachers, improved pit & spectator gates, new high-horsepower tractors, and — on Town approval — a new concrete burnout & starting-line pad.
Drivers meeting 15 minutes before racing at the tree. Burnout box, water, and a full NHRA-rules tech lane — exactly the real-deal experience that keeps speed off the street and on the strip.
Saturday nights under the lights, then Sunday daytime racing as the season cools. Drags every event — drift on select dates.

Parking upgrades are first-come, first-serve at the venue — cash only. Spectator and racer entry are handled at the gates on event day.
If you do not attend on the date of your ticket, no transfers will be made and no refunds will be issued.

Park in the pit area as a non-competitor.
Pit vehicle, golf cart or trailer not trailering a race vehicle.
Adjacent to the spectator ticket booths. Placard required. Not available in the racer pit area.
All racers and passengers must have a SNELL 2015+ helmet. NHRA rules no longer accept DOT helmets. SNELL rentals available at the racer gate.
