Who's On The Line

Everybody's got a story about how they got hooked. Here are a few of ours.

Kris A — 1996 Impala SS
2024 Profile

Kris A · '96 Impala SS

His first car, bought in high school in 2003. Over a decade on blocks while he earned two degrees and learned to weld and fab — then three years of non-stop work in a tent on the side of his house brought it back, LS-swapped and supercharged. "Cars are too fast and the roads too crowded — grateful to have a safe, legal place to race."

Jim Sanderson · 1964 Impala

Bought his '64 Impala in 1983 and never let it go. His son James caught the bug too — picked up a '62 BelAir. On September 25, 2022, RTNS gave them the chance to line up father against son on Long Island. "I cannot thank RTNS and everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality."

Joe Greeff · World-Record X3M

Picked up the hobby during Covid, got hooked on drag racing at RTNS getting seat time at every event and sharpening his reaction at the tree. Today he holds the world record for the fastest BMW X3M — built and tuned to run like a rocket ship. "A great way to test your skills and race legally and safely."
